VIRTUAL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

We strongly encourage delegates to attend the conference in person this year, however if you are unable to do so, you may consider a virtual registration.

We will be streaming out the Forum content to virtual delegates.

There will be no capacity networking and interactivity with conference speakers and in-person delegates.

Please take these factors into account when making your registration selection.

Event Terms and Conditions

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Group Discount

If you would like to register multiple delegates from the same organisation, please use the group registration link. Group bookings of 5 or more delegates will receive a 5% discount. Discounts apply to single day registrations and comprehensive 2-day registrations only. Exhibitor, concession and speaker registrations are not eligible for the group discount.

2-DAY IN PERSON REGISTRATION (TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY)

2-Day Registration includes all forum sessions, forum satchel and handbook, and attendance at the welcome reception. It also includes access to all recordings post-conference.

DAY ONLY IN PERSON REGISTRATION

Day Only Registration includes forum sessions, forum satchel and handbook, and attendance at the welcome reception (Tuesday only). It also includes access to all recordings post-conference.

VIRTUAL PERSON REGISTRATION

Virtual Registration includes access to the live streaming of all forum sessions across the 2-day forum and virtual forum handbook. It also includes access to all recordings post-forum. It does not include access to a virtual forum portal and forum app.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

Early Bird Registration is available for 2-Day registrations received and paid by midnight AEST on 7 March 2023. Fees not paid by that date will be re-invoiced at the full fee.

CONCESSION REGISTRATION

Concessions are given to full time students, pension card holders, government beneficiaries, community services card holders (NZ), SuperGold card holders (NZ) and unemployed people only. Please forward evidence (e.g., photocopy of pension card or student card) of concession/beneficiary status to TheMHS by email to info@themhs.org

COMPLIMENTARY REGISTRATION

Complimentary registrations are non-transferable. They are only to be used by the delegate they are allocated to. Should another person be found using a complimentary pass in the name of another person, they will then be charged for the day/s in attendance.

PAYMENT

Once your registration has been received, a tax invoice will be issued within 5 days. Once payment has been received, a confirmation letter will be issued.
All accounts must be paid in full within 30 days from the date of invoice.

  • Payment for Early Bird registrations must be received by midnight AEST 7 March 2023.
  • All other payment must be received by COB Friday, 7 March 2023.

Any invoices issued after the 7 March, will need to be paid immediately via credit card.
If payment is not received prior to the conference, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card onsite.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (CPE) ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE

An attendance certificate will be emailed to you in the week after the conference. The certificate issued will be in the name of the registered delegate only.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY (APPLIES TO DELEGATES WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY PAID FOR AN IN-PERSON REGISTRATION)

In the event that TheMHS is required to cancel the forum due to government-imposed restrictions on travel or meeting size, delegates will be offered:

  1. The option to attend virtually and be refunded the price difference in registration fees, or
  2. Be refunded 100% of their registration fee, if they do not wish to attend virtually.

In the event that the delegate is not able to attend the Forum due to travel restrictions imposed by their state of residence within 7 days of the forum, delegates will be offered:

  1. The option to attend virtually and be refunded the price difference in registration fees, or
  2. Be refunded 100% of their registration fee if they do not wish to attend virtually.
GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY
  • Up until 7 March 2023, you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no additional charge.
  • Substitution of delegates will not be accepted after the 7 March 2023, which is 2 weeks prior to conference.
  • Delegate fees will be refunded 100% (less a $AU120 administration fee) only if TheMHS Learning Network is notified in writing six (6) weeks before the Forum – that is 7 February 2023.
  • 50% of fee (less a $AU120 administration fee) will be refunded if written notification is received in writing four (4) weeks before the annual conference – that is 21 February 2023.
  • NO REFUND will apply after these dates, except at the discretion of TheMHS Learning Network’s Executive Director. Late applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Executive Director, with its decision being final.
  • If a delegate from a group of 5+ cancels, thereby reducing the group size to less than the specified minimum (see Group Discount section), the group coordinator will be invoiced for the discounted amount.
PRIVACY

Information gathered from registration will be used to administer the Forum. Your name and contact details will be used only to notify you of future mental health related events organised by TheMHS. If you do not wish to have your details used for this purpose please email info@themhs.org.

INTENTION TO PHOTOGRAPH AND RECORD

Attendees are advised that photographs may be taken during the meeting and reproduced for promotional purposes.

Attendees are advised that TheMHS will record presentations during the Forum. These recordings will be made available on TheMHS resource library for 12 months after the Forum The recordings may also be used for promotional purposes.

INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended that delegates take out adequate personal insurance prior to the commencement of the forum to cover any loss of fees should you be unable to participate in the forum for any reason.

  • In the event of industrial action, force majeure or other unforeseen disruption, the forum organisers do not take responsibility for any loss of monies incurred by forum delegates. We strongly advise forum delegates to arrange their own personal insurance.
  • The forum will not be liable for any participant failing to take out their own insurance.
  • Delegates and other invitees must observe the requests and, or directions of TheMHS staff.
