Men’s Mental Health: Building a Healthier Future

By February 23, 2015 No Comments

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Summer Forum this year. We heard some fantastic presentations on the latest research, programs and thinking in regards to Men’s Mental Health. The presentations were invigorating and thought provoking, and we hope that those of you who attended left with a renewed sense of purpose.

Richie Poulton, as he was wrapping up the Summer Forum, left us with his favourite quote from the two days:

“The way we look at mental disorders needs good, solid, long conversations” – Mick Adams.

Mick Adams was talking about Aboriginal mental health issues, but Richie thinks it applies more generally. “These conversations,” said Richie “are just the beginning”.
