Thanks to everyone who came along to the Summer Forum this year. We heard some fantastic presentations on the latest research, programs and thinking in regards to Men’s Mental Health. The presentations were invigorating and thought provoking, and we hope that those of you who attended left with a renewed sense of purpose.
Richie Poulton, as he was wrapping up the Summer Forum, left us with his favourite quote from the two days:
“The way we look at mental disorders needs good, solid, long conversations” – Mick Adams.
Mick Adams was talking about Aboriginal mental health issues, but Richie thinks it applies more generally. “These conversations,” said Richie “are just the beginning”.
Thanks to our excellent team of volunteer student bloggers, you can now read all about each session from TheMHS Summer Forum 2015. Check them out here.
Some of our presenters have kindly given us permission to share their power point presentations. You can view them in our Past Summer Forum Archive.
