Abstract: The aim of this paper is to inform people that Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is for all people, including Aboriginal people, and that DBT is strengthened by Aboriginal cultural perspectives. We share experiences and insights from our community based DBT program, Emotional Wisdom for Mums and Mums to be (EWM) and consider its potential for supporting the social and emotional well being of Aboriginal families.
