Abstract: Inspired by the success of current programs being facilitated on a community level within Hunter New England Local Health District, Morisset Hospital commenced a pilot program/study of a computer based cognitive remediation program to investigate the benefits of cognitive remediation for its current client population. The focus of this paper is to share the experiences and results of the implementation of this program which is aimed to assist consumers who live with persistent and ongoing mental illness to enhance cognitive skills and work towards goals of supported paid employment.
