Abstract: There is not a great deal of literature that focuses on older adults with a dual diagnosis. The research that does exist indicates that it makes sense to explore the alcohol/drug use of older adults with a dual diagnosis. This paper summarises some of the key literature and outlines my proposal for further research in this area.
