Abstract: Improving technology is leading to new insights into the causes of, and possible novel treatments for, auditory verbal hallucinations that are negative for the voice hearer. It is acknowledged that only some voice hearing experiences are pathological and part of illness. The presentation will provide an update on research to inform consumers, carers and clinicians.
