Abstract:

My role as a Quit Victoria Peer Support Worker has enabled me to have conversations with people about their smoking addiction and encourage them to seek assistance to cease or reduce their habit. This has been across two mental health clinical settings. My lived mental health experience has been a pivotal connection with people and helped lead a number to seek further support to beat their addiction.
