Abstract: The current national review of measures that enable consumers to rate their own mental health status and outcomes is a project initiated and coordinated by Victoria under the auspices of the Commonwealth-sponsored Information Development Plan. The project constitutes, for Victoria, the next phase of an ongoing process of consultation with consumers, carers and other stakeholders in relation to outcome measurement. The review has been undertaken by Queensland-based Siggins Miller Consultants in 2002-2003 and the Final Report is expected to be completed in October 2003.
